Flat, with no overage
We price by the plan, not by the message. No per-message rate, no credits, no overage — so the invoice is the number in the table.

What the numbers mean
Chat bots
How many separate bots the plan covers. Each gets its own key, its own allowed domains, its own persona and its own conversations — a bot on your account cannot see another bot's chats, including your own.
A bot is not the same thing as a website. Several bots can live on one domain, told apart by which key the page carries — one voice on your marketing pages and a different one behind your login is two bots, not two sites.
Messages per month
A message is one thing a visitor sends. The agent's replies are not counted. The allowance resets at the start of each UTC calendar month.
There is also a daily safety ceiling, about three times the plan's average daily allowance, so one exceptional day cannot consume the whole month. Reaching either ceiling pauses replies; it never creates an overage invoice. The portal shows the monthly count.
Context per bot
How much business information each bot can carry: services, prices, hours, policies and imported page text. Context is sent with every message, so larger plans include more. An over-limit edit is refused, never silently shortened.
Badge
On Lite the widget carries a small "powered by kavilo" link. On Starter and higher plans it does not. The cheapest tier pays partly in attribution, which is why it can be cheap.
Live data (MCP)
Enterprise can ask one tool on a server you operate for current, visitor-specific information before replying. Lower plans answer only from their published Context.
What is not on this page
There is no per-message rate, no credit pack, no seat count and no setup fee. If you find yourself doing arithmetic to predict a bill, something has gone wrong with our pricing rather than your maths.
The trial
Thirty days at Starter's allowance — 4,000 messages, 40,000 Context characters and one bot — with no card. It is the same message, Context and bot allowance you would be paying for. The trial still shows the small kavilo badge and does not include custom CSS; Starter removes the badge and enables custom styling.
When it ends, the bot and its settings remain in your account, but the widget pauses replies until you choose a paid plan. Lite is the lowest-cost option at $9 per month.
